original publishing folder (42 x 33 cm) made in Lviv bookbinding workshop of W.J. Romanowski;
the portfolio contains 40 color plates in light printing;
Portfolio divided into two parts: Costumes and types of highlanders and Monuments of culture and church art in Podhale. On the front the titulature and the author's signature embossed in gold and a woodcut of the author's depiction of a wooden church against the background of the mountains. Portfolio contains in Part 1: Costumes and types of Polish highlanders (17 plates); Part 2: Monuments of ecclesiastical and folk culture and art in Podhale (23 plates) Text: F.Gwiżdż - A word to the Podhale people; T.Szydłowski - The artistic past of Podhale; T.Seweryn - The costumes of the Polish highlanders; J.Wiktor - On the path of discovery.
